Be Smart, Include Art

“It is important to express oneself…provided the feelings are real and are taken from your own experience.”
Berthe Morisot

Students, Parents, Staff, and Friends, welcome into the creation of our teaching and learning experience with one another.  We welcome you and hope you enjoy the exhibit of sharing together with us the process of learning through art. Let us all be smart and include art.

Hello to all my aspiring artists! My name is Starla Kovar, and I will be working with the 5th/6th group in Ms. Jennifer Sunderland’s class at the Lab School.

I am a studio art major at CSU with a concentration in photography. I am also interested in art education and art history. After I graduate, I would like to work in a school as an art teacher or in a museum creating educational programs for students.

I am really excited for the classes that Branson and I have planned. I think that the classes can best be described as fun-ducational.

See you soon!

Greetings! My name is Branson Bartlett and I will be working along Starla in Ms. Jennifer Sunderland’s class at the Lab School.

Currently, I am in my senior year at CSU, where I am an Art Education major with a split studio concentration in Painting and Printmaking. I look forward to the new experiences of teaching and also being taught by you.  Imagine a world with no art, scary thought, so let’s ignite our imaginations and create ART.

Until next time,

“Art is the most intense mode of invidualism that the world has known.”

-Oscar Wilde
